About This Job

National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is holding a walk-in interview for 6 project staff posts in the Educational Survey Division. Senior Research Associate (SRA)

  • Desirable: School teaching experience, B.Ed./M.Ed., NET qualification, good writing and verbal communication in Hindi and English, and knowledge of MS Office, open software and ICT.
  • Degree awaited: Candidates whose degree is awaited should not apply.

Age Limit

  • SRA: You should be below 45 years.
  • JPF: You should be below 40 years.
  • Relaxation: Age relaxation is available as per Government of India norms.

Fellowship

  • SRA with NET: Rs. 42,000 per month consolidated.
  • SRA without NET: Rs. 40,000 per month consolidated.
  • JPF with NET: Rs. 37,000 per month consolidated.
  • JPF without NET: Rs. 35,000 per month consolidated.
  • The fellowship is temporary and does not give a claim for regular NCERT employment.

Selection Process (Walk-in Interview)

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

PG or equivalent degree in Education Sciences, Social Sciences, Mathematics, English, Hindi, Humanities or Languages with at least 55% marks; 50% for SC/ST/PwD. SRA also requires 2 years of school teaching experience.

Preferred Qualification

Ph.D. or M.Phil. in Education for SRA; B.Ed./M.Ed.; NET qualification; teaching experience for JPF; good Hindi and English communication; computer applications, MS Office, open software and ICT knowledge.
