NPCIL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2027: Overview

Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), a public sector company under the Department of Atomic Energy, has put out an advance notice for its Executive Trainee (ET-2027) batch. NPCIL handles the whole life of a nuclear power plant in India — choosing sites, design, construction, running the reactors, upgrades, waste management and finally decommissioning — so trainees join a company that does it all under one roof.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• GATE score window: A score from GATE 2025, 2026 or 2027 is accepted, but it must still be valid on the day you fill the online form.
• Shortlisting on GATE marks: NPCIL picks candidates for the interview purely on the basis of their GATE score, so a strong score matters more than anything else here.
• Women encouraged: NPCIL says it wants a gender-balanced workforce and openly invites women engineers to apply.
• Tentative timeline: The full notice is expected within about 10 days of the GATE 2027 result. NPCIL calls this date tentative, so keep checking.
