Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) is recruiting 1 Scheduled Castes Development Officer Grade II post in the Scheduled Castes Development Department. KPSC Scheduled Castes Development Officer Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post
Kerala Public Service Commission has issued Category No. 27/2026 for direct recruitment to Scheduled Castes Development Officer Grade II. The post belongs to the Scheduled Castes Development Department, and the notified vacancy is already in existence. The ranked list will be valid for at least 1 year and may continue up to 3 years as per Kerala PSC rules.

Age Limit
- You should be between 18 and 40 years old.
- You must have been born between 02 January 1986 and 01 January 2008, both dates included.
- Age relaxation: OBC, SC and ST candidates get usual relaxation under Kerala PSC rules.

Salary
- The pay scale is Rs. 43,400 to Rs. 91,200 per month.
- You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Kerala Government rules.
- After appointment, you must complete 3 months of training before being posted as Scheduled Castes Development Officer Grade II.

After joining, the probation period is 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years. The 3-month training period will not be counted for probation or increment. Selection Process

- Ranked List and Advice: Appointment advice will be issued from the ranked list against the notified and reported vacancies.
- Training: Selected candidates must complete 3 months of training arranged by the Director of Scheduled Castes Development Department.
- Probation Tests: During probation, appointees must pass Manual of Office Procedure, Account Test (Lower), and the Hand Book of Scheduled Castes Development Department test unless already passed.
