National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) Executive (Outreach) Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

NIT Calicut has released an advertisement (Advt No. P1/Adhoc/Recr/2026-27 dated 15 July 2026) to engage an Executive (Outreach) on contract to support its international relations, educational outreach and alumni relations activities. You will report to the Dean, International, Alumni and Corporate Relations (IACR) and work from the NIT Calicut campus in Kozhikode, Kerala. The role covers a mix of responsibilities — from coordinating MoUs and student exchange programs with foreign universities, to organising school and college visits to the campus, to managing alumni communication and the alumni portal. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: B.Tech in any discipline, or a PGDM/MBA/Master's Programme in International Relations from a reputed Business School or Management Institution.
• Desirable Experience: 3 years' experience in the International Relations Office or Alumni Relations Office of IITs, NITs, Central Universities, other reputed institutions, or CSR Foundations.
• Skills Needed: Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to draft MoUs and official documents, strong coordination and negotiation skills, cross-cultural communication ability, and proficiency in MS Office, data handling and online collaboration tools.
• Other Requirements: You should be willing to travel nationally and internationally as the role demands, and be prepared to act as the nodal officer for embassies, international agencies, foreign universities and government bodies.
• Nationality: Only Indian citizens can apply.

This is a broad, multi-facing role that blends international relations coordination with grassroots outreach. On the international side, you will identify and manage MoUs, coordinate participation in global education fairs, and act as the nodal officer for embassies and foreign universities. On the outreach side, you will organise school and college visits to the campus, plan demonstrations for visiting students, and seek CSR funding to build a dedicated Outreach Centre at NIT Calicut. On the alumni side, you will manage newsletters, communication and the alumni portal to keep NIT Calicut connected with its graduates.

• You should preferably be below 45 years of age. The last date for applying is the reference date for determining eligibility in every respect.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 70,000 for this full-time contractual position.
• This is a fixed consolidated pay — no separate DA/HRA allowances are mentioned in the advertisement.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written examination for this post. Selection is based on your application, documents and further assessment:

2. Skill Test / Trade Test: The selection committee may decide to conduct any skill or trade test it considers relevant for the role.
3. Document Verification: You must bring original certificates, experience proof and a Government-issued photo ID at the time of the selection process — candidates without originals will be disqualified.
