Kerala PSC is filling 15 Fitter posts in the Kerala Water Authority. This is a By Transfer recruitment, so it is open only to in-service staff already working in the lower categories of the Kerala Water Authority. Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) Fitter Recruitment 2026 - 15 Posts

The Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) has released notification Category No. 052/2026 to fill 15 Fitter posts in the Kerala Water Authority by transfer. The posts are meant for existing lower-category staff of the Water Authority who hold the Fitter trade qualification. If enough qualified in-service candidates are not available, the remaining posts will be filled from the ranked list prepared for direct recruitment to the same post.

Who Can Apply?

• Who is eligible: Only in-service personnel working in the lower categories of the Kerala Water Authority for not less than 3 years can apply.
• Qualification: You must have passed SSLC or an equivalent exam.
• Trade certificate: You need a National Trade Certificate (NCVT) in the Fitter trade after completing a 2-year course, or an equivalent.
• Preference: National Apprenticeship Certificate holders are given preference over National Trade Certificate holders.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 50 years old, meaning you must be born between 2 January 1976 and 1 January 2008 (both dates included).
• No further age relaxation is allowed. Differently-abled candidates are not eligible for age relaxation for this post.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a pay scale of Rs. 25,800 to Rs. 59,300 per month.
• You will also get Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance and other allowances as per Kerala Government rules.

Application Fee

• All candidates: No application fee. Kerala PSC does not charge any fee for this recruitment.

Selection Process

Selection is done through these stages:

1. Service Certificate Scrutiny: You must upload a Service Certificate from your Head of Office confirming your post, service length and probation status in the Kerala Water Authority.
2. Written / OMR Test (if conducted): If the Commission holds a written or OMR test, you must confirm through your One Time Registration profile and download the admission ticket.
3. Ranked List: The Commission prepares a ranked list of eligible candidates, valid for a minimum of one year and up to three years.
4. Document Verification: Original documents proving qualification, age, community and service are checked before appointment.

2. Complete your One Time Registration (OTR) if you have not already. Add your Aadhaar as ID proof.
3. Log in with your User-ID and password.
