Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) Tax and Revenue Inspector Recruitment 2026 - 29 Posts

UKPSC has released Advertisement No. A-1/DR(TRI)/S-2/2026 for direct recruitment to 29 Tax and Revenue Inspector posts under the Urban Development Department's centralised Palika Revenue Service. This is a permanent, Group 'C' non-gazetted post under the contributory pension scheme. Selection is entirely through a written objective-type exam — there is no interview — so focused exam preparation is your key to getting selected. The Commission has also notified an exam-malpractice prevention law (Uttarakhand Competitive Examinations Act, 2023), so candidates should strictly avoid any unfair means during the process.

Vacancy Breakdown by Category

  • Other Backward Classes (OBC): 5 posts
  • Scheduled Caste (SC): 4 posts
  • Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 4 posts

Within these 29 posts, horizontal reservation is also available: 9 posts for Uttarakhand women, 1 post for skilled sportspersons, 1 post for identified state movement agitators or their dependents, and 2 posts for persons with disabilities. The Commission has noted that the number of vacancies can increase or decrease before final selection.
