Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has released Category No. 13/2026 notification for 2 Assistant Manager (Production) posts in Travancore Titanium Products Limited (TTPL), a Government of Kerala undertaking based in Thiruvananthapuram. TTPL is the pioneer titanium dioxide manufacturer in South East Asia, established in 1946. This is a direct recruitment through a statewide general recruitment process. Chemical Engineering graduates and postgraduates looking for a production management role in a Kerala PSU should apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Essential Qualification: You need a Degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognised university.
• Preferred Additional Qualification: PG Degree in Chemical Engineering or PG Diploma in Business Management will give you an advantage.
• Equivalent Qualifications: Qualifications recognised by the Government of Kerala as equivalent to the prescribed qualification are also accepted. You should keep the relevant Government Order ready for submission when asked by the Commission.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 40 years old.
• Only candidates born between 02 January 1986 and 01 January 2008 (both dates included) can apply.
• OBC Relaxation: Other Backward Communities get the usual age relaxation as per Kerala government rules.
• SC/ST Relaxation: SC and ST candidates also get the usual age relaxation.
• Maximum Upper Limit: In no case can the upper age limit go beyond 50 years, even after relaxation.
• Provisional Hands: If you have worked as a provisional hand in TTPL, you get age relaxation equal to your provisional service period, up to a maximum of 5 years. Regular employees of TTPL do not get this benefit.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary in the scale of Rs 20,740 - Rs 36,140 per month.
• You will also get DA, HRA, and other allowances as per the rules of Travancore Titanium Products Limited.

Application Fee

• No application fee is required for any category.
• Kerala PSC does not charge any fee for applying through the One Time Registration system.

Selection Process

The selection will include the following stages:

1. Written/OMR/Online Test: If conducted, only candidates who have the required qualification (Degree in Chemical Engineering) will need to submit a confirmation through their OTR profile to write the exam. Admission tickets will be available for download in the last 15 days before the exam date.
2. Document Verification: You will need to produce original documents to prove your qualification, experience, age, and community when called by the Commission.

How to Apply

2. Register yourself using the One Time Registration (OTR) system if you have not already.
3. Log in with your User ID and Password.
4. Find Category No. 13/2026 in the Notification section and click "Apply Now".
5. Check that all your profile details are correct before submitting.
6. Upload a recent photograph (taken within 6 months) with your name and date printed at the bottom.
7. Submit the application. Note: You cannot edit or delete the application after submission.
8. Take a printout or save a soft copy for future reference.
9. If you have an Aadhaar Card, add it as ID proof in your profile.

• Monitor production targets, process parameters, and quality standards for each shift
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality control, and safety departments to keep operations running smoothly
• Prepare production reports, shift logs, and daily output summaries for senior management
• Follow safety protocols and environmental compliance standards during chemical processing
• Assist in planning raw material requirements and managing inventory for production processes
• Train and guide junior production staff and operators on standard operating procedures
