Chennai Port Authority Manager IT Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Chennai Port Authority has released the terms and conditions for engaging a Manager (IT) on a full-time contract basis. The selected person will work in the Finance Department - EDP Division and report to the Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer. This is a senior IT role covering enterprise systems, SAP, port operations software, cybersecurity, MIS and digital transformation work for the Port.

The contract is for 3 years from the date of reporting to duty and may be extended after review of performance and requirement. The notice also says the contract will end automatically after the contract period unless the authority decides otherwise. The role is not a desk-only support post. Who Can Apply?

• Desirable Experience: Working experience in Traffic and Marine Operations Software, SAP S/4HANA, and the Port or Shipping sector.
• Work Location: Finance Department - EDP Division, Chennai Port Authority, Chennai. During the contract, the selected person may be assigned to Port projects as decided by the authority.
