The Office of the Chief Medical Superintendent, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Hospital (JNMCH), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh has issued a notice (D.No. 158/MCH dated 15 April 2026) inviting applications for 2 posts on fixed salary — Caretaker cum Fire Officer and Assistant Security cum Fire Officer. Who Can Apply?

For Caretaker cum Fire Officer (1 Post)

Essential qualifications (all three required):

• Education: Graduation or equivalent from a recognised university
• Certification: Certification or training in fire fighting from any recognised institution
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in supervision and maintenance of buildings with civil and electrical components (minimum covered area of 50,000 square feet)

Desirable: Knowledge of computers, especially MS Office

For Assistant Security cum Fire Officer (1 Post)

Essential qualifications (any one of the following options):

• Option A: B.Tech (Fire / Fire & Safety) + 1 year experience in the relevant field after obtaining degree
• Option B: B.Tech / B.E (Mechanical / Electrical) + 1 year PG Diploma in Fire & Safety Management or Industrial Safety & Fire Prevention + 1 year experience after obtaining degree/diploma
• Option C: B.Sc + 1 year PG Diploma in Fire & Safety Management or Industrial Safety & Fire Prevention + 2 years experience after obtaining diploma
• Option D: 3-year Diploma in Fire / Fire & Safety + 5 years experience in the relevant field after obtaining diploma

Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications including word processing, e-mail, internet, spreadsheet and presentation software

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 40 years
• Age Relaxation: The prescribed age limit will be relaxed in favour of candidates already working in Central Universities, Central Government Offices, Central Government-funded Autonomous Institutions

Salary

• Caretaker cum Fire Officer: Rs. 30,000 per month (fixed salary)
• Assistant Security cum Fire Officer: Rs. 35,000 per month (fixed salary)
• These are fixed-salary contractual posts — no additional pay levels or grade pay applicable
