All India Institute of Medical Sciences Raipur (AIIMS Raipur), under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has released Advertisement No. No.9/327/2026/Recruit./Reg./AIIMSRPR/1538 dated 03 June 2026. The recruitment is for Senior Resident (Group A) posts under the Government of India Residency Scheme for a tenure of 11 months. Final selection is based on interview, though AIIMS Raipur may conduct a screening test if many applications are received.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Medical departments: You need a postgraduate medical degree such as MD, MS, DNB, or Diploma in the concerned discipline from a recognised university or institute.
• Dentistry departments: You need an MDS degree in the concerned speciality.
• Degree result: You should have passed the qualifying degree exam and should complete, or be likely to complete, the required tenure on or before the interview date.
• Registration: You must produce valid NMC, DMC, or State Medical Council registration during document checking.

Other Conditions

• Indian nationality: The application form is for Indian nationals.
• NOC: If you work in a Central Government, State Government, semi-government, or autonomous institution, you need a No Objection Certificate at the interview.
• Category certificate: OBC-NCL and EWS certificates must follow the Government of India format and validity dates mentioned in the notice.

Age Limit

• Upper age limit: 45 years as on the last date of receipt of application form, which is 12 June 2026.
• SC/ST relaxation: 5 years.
• OBC relaxation: 3 years.
• PwBD relaxation: 10 years for General, 13 years for OBC, and 15 years for SC/ST.
• Ex-servicemen and certain commissioned officers: 5 years relaxation as per the conditions in the notification.

Salary

• Pay level: Level 11, Cell No. 01 as per 7th CPC.
• Basic monthly pay: Rs. 67,700 per month.
• Allowances: Usual allowances are payable, including NPA where applicable.
• Tenure: The appointment is under the residency scheme for 11 months.

Application Fee

• General/OBC/EWS: Rs. 1,000, payable in online or digital mode.
• Women/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-servicemen: No fee.
• Payment note: Fee has to be paid through NEFT to the AIIMS Raipur bank account mentioned in the notification.

Selection Process

AIIMS Raipur will make the final selection through interview. If many applications are received, AIIMS Raipur may first hold a screening test or written test for shortlisting.

1. Application Scrutiny: AIIMS Raipur checks your Google Form, application proforma, qualification, age, fee, and category details.
2. Shortlisting or Screening Test: A screening test may be conducted if the number of applications is high. The detailed scheme will be notified later on the AIIMS Raipur website.
3. Interview: Shortlisted applicants will attend interview at AIIMS Raipur, Tatibandh, G.E. Road, Raipur.
4. Document Verification: You must show original certificates and one set of photocopies for qualification, age, category, registration, and experience if any.
5. Medical Fitness: Appointment is subject to being declared medically fit by the competent medical board.
