All India Institute of Medical Sciences Raipur (AIIMS Raipur) has released notice No. Reg.Off./Rec./JR/2026/AIIMS.RPR/1537 dated 03 June 2026 for Junior Resident posts for medical graduates. The appointment is under the Government of India Residency Scheme for 6 months and is not linked to a regular post. AIIMS Raipur MBBS graduates get first consideration; remaining posts are offered to other institutions through interview.

• Upper age limit: 30 years as on the last date of application, 12 June 2026.
• SC/ST relaxation: 5 years.
• OBC relaxation: 3 years.
• PwBD relaxation: Up to 5 years for General, 8 years for OBC, and 10 years for SC/ST candidates.

Salary

• Basic pay: Rs. 56,100 per month.
• Pay level: Level 10, Cell No. 01 as per the 7th CPC.
• Allowances: Usual allowances including NPA are payable as per AIIMS/Government rules.
• Tenure: The Junior Resident engagement is for 6 months.

Residency Conditions

• Appointment type: The post is temporary under the Government of India Residency Scheme.
• No regular claim: The 6-month engagement is not linked to regular appointment and cannot be regularised.
• Private practice: The resident should not take private practice or other assignments during the contract period.
