Who Can Apply?

Senior Resident Qualification

• Qualification: You need the essential qualification as per latest NMC norms for the Senior Resident post in the concerned department.
• Degree documents: The application form checklist refers to MBBS and MD/MS/DM/MCh degree or provisional degree, as applicable for the specialty.
• Registration: You must bring a valid State Medical Council, NMC or MCI registration certificate, as applicable.
• Reservation benefit: Candidates claiming reservation benefits must be domiciles of Uttar Pradesh.

PwBD Reservation

• Horizontal reservation: 4% reservation applies for eligible Persons with Benchmark Disabilities.
• Allowed disability categories: OL, LV, Dw, LC and AAV are mentioned in the notice.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 45 years.
• Age reference date: The age will be counted as on the date of interview.

Selection Process (No Written Exam Mentioned)

UPUMS will conduct selection through a walk-in interview. The official notice does not mention a written exam, CBT, OMR test or separate skill test.
