NCRTC Assistant Manager Corporate Communications Recruitment 2026: Overview

National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is hiring an Assistant Manager/ Corporate Communications (Creative Production) on a direct recruitment basis. NCRTC builds and runs the Namo Bharat regional rail service under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, with the Delhi-Meerut corridor already open and the Delhi-Gurugram-SNB-Alwar and Delhi-Panipat-Karnal corridors next in line.

This role is about the visual face of Namo Bharat — station branding, hoardings, printed publications and campaign creatives. It is a hands-on production job, not a press-relations desk role. You need a full-time postgraduate qualification in Mass Communication or Public Relations and solid post-qualification experience. The good news for private sector professionals: you can apply from a private company if your CTC meets the notice's minimum, as long as you are currently employed.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Currently employed only: You must be working on the date eligibility is counted (22 October 2026).
  • Current pay or CTC: Government staff must hold the minimum CDA or IDA grade the notice prescribes, and private sector applicants must meet its minimum annual CTC. Private CTC is checked only through Form 16, ITR and the last 12 months' salary slips.
  • Unreserved post: The single vacancy is UR. SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates can apply but get no age or marks relaxation against it, while PwBD age relaxation still applies.
  • NCRTC employees: Staff with at least one year of service in NCRTC get age relaxation equal to their completed years of service.
  • Experience rules: Private sector experience counts at 80% and government experience at 100%. Teaching or freelance work is not counted.
  • Service bond: You sign a bond of Rs. 5 lakh plus GST (and training cost, if any) to serve NCRTC for at least three years. Probation follows company policy.
  • Medical fitness: Joining depends on a pre-employment medical at an NCRTC-nominated or government hospital, under the Indian Railway Medical Manual. Lasik or radial keratotomy for vision correction is not allowed, and candidates with cancer or kidney/liver failure are not considered.
  • Character check: Appointment depends on satisfactory character and antecedents verification; this is relaxed for staff coming from government bodies, CPSEs, metros or railways.
  • Posting: You can be posted at any NCRTC office, project unit, subsidiary or joint venture, and may be asked to work in shifts.
  • Non-joining penalty: If you are selected but do not join, you cannot apply to NCRTC for two years.
