NCRTC GM Land Acquisition Recruitment 2026: Overview

National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is hiring a General Manager/ Land Acquisition through direct recruitment, so this is a regular post on the company's own rolls, not a deputation slot. NCRTC is a joint venture of the Government of India and the state governments of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, working under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

The corporation runs the Namo Bharat regional rapid rail service. With the Delhi-Meerut corridor now fully open, the focus is shifting to the Delhi-Gurugram-SNB-Alwar and Delhi-Panipat-Karnal corridors, and every new corridor starts with land. You will lead that work, from acquisition and resettlement plans to court cases and the systems NCRTC will use for upcoming lines.

The post suits land acquisition specialists from government, PSUs, autonomous bodies or the private sector who have handled acquisition under the RFCTLARR Act, 2013 and managed related court cases on metro or railway projects. A civil engineering background is a plus, not a must. The vacancy is unreserved.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Service bond: You must sign a service bond of Rs. 5 lakh plus GST and training cost, if any, and serve NCRTC for at least three years.
• Probation: After joining you serve a probation period as per company policy.
• Currently employed only: You must be working somewhere on the eligibility date to apply.
• Private sector experience: If you have both government and private experience, private years count at 80% and government years at 100%. Your CTC is checked only through Form 16, ITR and the last 12 months' salary slips.
• Pay-scale match: NCRTC compares the minimum basic pay of your current scale with its own scale to decide equivalence.
• Reserved categories: SC, ST, OBC and EWS candidates can apply against this unreserved post, but without any relaxation in age or qualifying marks.
• Posting: You can be posted to any NCRTC office, project unit, subsidiary or joint venture, including shift work.
• Medical: Joining depends on a pre-employment medical at an NCRTC-nominated or government hospital. Candidates with cancer, or kidney or liver failure or transplant, will not be considered.
• Character check: Your character and antecedents are verified before appointment; if you lived abroad in the last five years, the Indian Embassy of that country is asked to verify.
• Interview cut-off: The merit list comes only from the interview, and you need at least 60% to be found suitable.
• Not joining: Selected candidates who do not join are barred from NCRTC posts for two years.
