Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) Allahabad is hiring a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on contract in its Department of Biotechnology in Prayagraj. The fellow will work on a Department of Health Research (DHR) project (SUG-2026-1524) that is developing an electronic tattoo (e-tattoo) — an electrically conductive skin patch meant to help heal diabetic foot ulcers by restoring the signalling between skin and nerves.

The project is led by Dr. Ekta Srivastava, Assistant Professor of Biotechnology and Principal Investigator, with Prof. Manisha Sachan as Co-Investigator. If you hold a life-science master's with a GATE or NET score and have hands-on time with animal cell culture or molecular biology, this project is a strong fit and a useful first step towards a research career.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The project grant runs for one year; any extension depends on your performance.
• Nature of post: Purely temporary, governed by the funding agency's rules and the service conditions of MNNIT's Research & Consultancy Cell.
