TIFR Clerk Trainee Recruitment 2026 (Advertisement No. 2026/10)

The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), a Deemed University under the Department of Atomic Energy, has released Advertisement No. 2026/10 for the post of Clerk Trainee through walk-in selection. Two vacancies are to be filled on an immediate basis, and any balance vacancies may be filled later based on functional requirement. This is a good entry-level opportunity for graduates who want office and clerical experience at one of India's top research institutes.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification

• You must be a graduate from a recognised University or Institute.
• You must have knowledge of typing and the use of personal computers and applications.

Desirable Qualification

• Experience in Microsoft Excel and good drafting skills.

Age Limit

• You should be below 28 years of age.

Salary

• You will get a monthly stipend of Rs. 22,000 per month.
• The appointment is temporary for one year, which may be extended further if necessary.
• No TA/DA is paid for attending the walk-in selection.

Selection Process

Selection is done in these stages:

1. Written Test: All eligible candidates take a written test at the walk-in.
2. Skill Test: The top twenty candidates who qualify in the written test appear for the skill test, which may be held on another day.
3. Merit List: Final selection is based on combined performance in the written test and skill test.

Candidates not allowed after 10:00 am on the walk-in date.

3. Take a printout of the submitted online application.
