RailTel Senior DGM (E5) Recruitment 2026: Overview

RailTel Corporation of India Limited (RailTel), the telecom and ICT public sector company under the Ministry of Railways, needs an experienced officer to run operations at Nashik in its Western Region. The post is Senior Deputy General Manager at the E5 level, offered on re-employment to officers who have retired or resigned from the Railways or a Railway PSU.

The selected officer becomes the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) in-charge for the Nashik and Trimbakeshwar City Network Backbone Project and the communication network for the Nashik Kumbh Mela. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Service background: The post is meant for the Signal and Telecom (S&T) cadre — IRSSE and other gazetted S&T officers of the Railways and Railway PSUs.
• Tenure: Re-employment is for one year at first and can be extended as long as the work needs it, at the management's discretion.
• Pay terms: Pay and allowances follow the DPE scale of the selected level under RailTel's own re-employment terms and conditions.
• Cut-off date: Your age and eligibility are checked as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
