Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) Young Professional Recruitment 2026 - 6 Posts

SPMCIL, a Miniratna Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise wholly owned by the Government of India, has released Advertisement No. 04/2026 to engage 6 Young Professionals on a fixed-term contract basis. The company designs and prints currency notes, security papers, passports and postage stamps, and mints coins across its units in Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Noida. Three of the six posts are in Cyber Security alone, reflecting SPMCIL's growing focus on securing its IT and OT systems. Young Professionals will be placed in the Vigilance Department at the Corporate Office, New Delhi (Legal, Finance, Technical roles) or the IT Department at the Data Center in Noida and the Disaster Recovery Center in Hyderabad (Cyber Security role). This is a contract engagement, not a permanent government job — SPMCIL clearly states the engagement does not lead to future regular employment. The Young Professional scheme is a common mechanism used by central PSUs to bring in specialised, contract-based talent for time-bound projects without expanding permanent headcount, and SPMCIL uses it here to strengthen its Vigilance Department's legal, financial and technical oversight, as well as its Cyber Security defences at the Noida Data Center and Hyderabad Disaster Recovery Center.

Who Can Apply?

Young Professional (Legal) - Rs. 50,000/month:

• You need a First Class LL.B degree from a recognized University/Institute, plus at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Young Professional (Finance) - Rs. 50,000/month:

• You need CA Inter, ICWA Inter, or a First Class M.Com, plus at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Young Professional (Technical) - Rs. 50,000/month:

• You need a First Class B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Mechanical, Printing, or Paper, plus at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Young Professional (Cyber Security) - Rs. 50,000/month:

• You need a First Class full-time B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or Cyber Security, plus at least 1 year of post-qualification experience in Cyber Security.
• Preferred certifications: CEH, CCSP, CISSP, CompTIA CySA+, GSEC, OSCP, or CISM.

For all four posts, you should also have good computer proficiency and strong writing and communication skills. Across all four posts, SPMCIL is looking for candidates who can start contributing quickly — this is a specialist, project-based role rather than a generalist administrative position, so relevant post-qualification experience matters as much as your degree.

Age Limit

• You should be 35 years or younger as on the closing date, 17 August 2026.

Salary

• All four Young Professional posts pay a fixed Rs. 50,000 per month (all inclusive).
• You get an 8% annual increment on your remuneration.
• You get 1 day of paid leave for every 20 days you work, and gratuity if you complete at least 1 year of service.
• You are also entitled to reimbursement for a Mediclaim policy up to Rs. 2 lakh (self, spouse and dependent children) once your engagement crosses 6 months. No other allowances like DA, accommodation, telephone, or conveyance are given.
• The engagement is for 3 years and may be ended earlier or extended based on your performance.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Online Test: Carries 75% weightage in the final merit. Exam centers for Legal/Finance/Technical are in Delhi NCR only; for Cyber Security, centers are in Delhi NCR and Hyderabad.
2. Interview: Carries 25% weightage. Candidates are shortlisted for interview in a 1:4 ratio per post. All interviews are held in New Delhi.
