BHU Junior Research Assistant Recruitment 2026: Overview

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is hiring a Junior Research Assistant (JRA) in the Department of Botany, Institute of Science, Varanasi. The post belongs to a research project titled "To Investigate the Role of Biochar Bag for Regulating Xenobiotic Contamination in Wastewater", funded by the Council of Science and Technology, Uttar Pradesh (CST UP), Lucknow and led by Dr. Anita Singh as Principal Investigator.

The project is sanctioned under order no. CST/EnV./D-1002 (project ID 6764, BHU project code P-26/0171). This is a temporary, project-linked post open only to Uttar Pradesh residents.
