HAL Korwa Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Overview

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is taking on its 2026-27 batch of apprentices at the Avionics Division in Korwa, Amethi (Uttar Pradesh) under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Training is run by the division's Gurukulam Technical Training Institute. The batch is open to engineering graduates, non-engineering graduates, engineering diploma holders and two non-technical diplomas, GNM nursing and MOM&SP. This is a one-year training programme, not a job: HAL has no obligation to employ you once your apprenticeship ends. It suits recent pass-outs who want hands-on industry training at an aerospace PSU.

Posts and Disciplines

• Engineering Graduate Apprentice: for 4-year B.E./B.Tech holders in Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Computer Science/IT; allied branches of electronics and mechanical are included.
• Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentice: for BCA, BSc (Computer Science), BCom and BA graduates, and for 4-year BSc (Agriculture) graduates.
• Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: for 3-year engineering diploma holders in the same five branches as the graduate apprentices.
• Technician (Non-Technical Diploma) Apprentice: for holders of the 3-year General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) diploma or the 2-year MOM&SP diploma.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• No repeat apprentices: If you have already done, left, or are doing apprenticeship training anywhere, or are registered under the Apprentices Act, you cannot apply.
• Passing-year cut-off: You are not eligible if five years since passing your degree or diploma will be complete on 15 February 2027.
• Work experience: Candidates with one year or more of work experience in any organisation are not eligible.
• No correspondence degrees: Degrees or diplomas earned through correspondence are not accepted.
• Training contract: Selected apprentices sign a contract for the training period as the Apprentices Act requires; the stipend follows the rules and BOAT Kanpur revisions.
• Joining formalities: You need a medical fitness certificate from a Government Medical Officer not below Assistant Surgeon (Gazetted) and a police verification certificate from the Commissioner or SP of your home area.
• Certificate validity: OBC (non-creamy layer, central format) and PwD certificates must be issued within six months of the application closing date.
• Travel and stay: No TA/DA is paid for verification, and you arrange your own stay at Korwa.
• Reservation: Seats are reserved as per the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Application Submission Notes

Before you fill the form, register on the NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in) to get your apprentice Registration Number, and enter it in the application. HAL accepts applications only through its Google Form; forms sent any other way are rejected.

If you are the child or spouse of a serving, retired or deceased HAL employee, attach the employee's details in the prescribed format, certified by the HR officer of that division. The list of provisionally selected candidates will be posted in the Careers section of hal-india.co.in, and document verification takes place at HAL Korwa.
