HAL Koraput Visiting Physician Recruitment 2026: Overview

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), the Maharatna aerospace company under the Ministry of Defence, wants a Physician (General Medicine) to work as a Visiting Consultant at the Industrial Health Centre (IHC) of its Koraput Division. The division is located at Sunabeda in Koraput district, Odisha, and runs a full-fledged multi-specialty health centre. This is a visiting engagement, not a regular job — you come in on set visit days and are paid for each visit.

The engagement runs for two years at first, and HAL may extend it based on your performance and what the division needs. The notice comes from the HAL Corporate HR Centre (CHRC), Bengaluru, but all the work happens at the Koraput health centre.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Visit schedule: You can make at most two visits a week, and each visit must last at least five hours. The Chief of Medical Services (CoMS) tells you which days to come in.
• Emergencies: You may be asked to attend emergency cases at the IHC, apart from your regular visits.
• Temporary status: The role is purely temporary and gives you no claim to regular employment with HAL.
• No extra benefits: Apart from the per-visit fee and the conveyance charge, HAL pays no other allowance or benefit.
• Taxes: Income tax, professional tax and other applicable taxes are deducted from your payment.
• Early exit: Either side can end the engagement early with one month's written notice, or by paying the amount for five visits instead of the notice.
• Current job: The application form asks you to declare that this engagement does not violate the terms of your present employment, so check your employer's rules first.
• Confidentiality: You must keep official matters and any information you learn at HAL strictly confidential.
• Panel: HAL may fill future visiting consultant needs from the panel of selected candidates.
