Responsibilities

  • Handle printing, quality control, and production operations related to currency notes, security documents, and government stationery at the assigned SPMCIL unit
  • Operate and maintain specialised printing, minting, and security paper machinery as per standard operating procedures
  • Assist in ensuring quality standards for currency and security printing by following strict quality control protocols
  • Keep records of production output, material consumption, wastage, and inventory as required by your department
  • Follow all safety protocols and security procedures related to handling sensitive government printing materials
  • Work with team members across shifts to meet daily and monthly production targets set by the unit management
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation for office administration (for office/supervisory posts)
  • Monitor equipment maintenance schedules and report any breakdowns or defects to senior officers promptly
