Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Nellore is hiring 3 ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) Teachers for the Balvatika/ECCE Centre at RIE Nellore. If you have a Senior Secondary (12th) Certificate with a One Year Diploma in Pre-school Education, you can attend the walk-in interview on 18 May 2026 at 10:00 AM. Selected candidates will get Rs. 31,000 per month on a contract basis. Maximum age limit is 45 years (65 years for retired government staff).

NCERT RIE Nellore ECCE Teacher Recruitment 2026 - 3 Posts

Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Nellore, a constituent unit of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has released Vacancy Notification No. 01/2026 for 3 ECCE Teacher posts on a contractual basis. These positions are for the Balvatika/ECCE Centre at RIE Nellore under the PAC Programmes of the Institute (PAC Code 27.08). The selection is through a walk-in interview only — there is no written exam. Freshers as well as experienced nursery teachers can attend.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Essential: Senior Secondary School Certificate (12th Class) or equivalent plus a One Year Diploma in Pre-school Education from a recognised university.
• General category candidates need 55% marks in the qualifying exam.
• SC, ST, OBC (Non-creamy layer) and PwD candidates need 50% marks.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• One year experience as a nursery teacher
• Knowledge of computer applications
• Ability to communicate in English, Hindi and Telugu

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 45 years
• For retired persons from government organisations: up to 65 years
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwD candidates

Salary

• You will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 31,000 per month
• This is a contractual position — no other allowances are mentioned
• Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview

Selection Process

The selection is done in a single stage — there is no written exam:

1. Walk-in Interview: Conducted at RIE Nellore on 18 May 2026 at 10:00 AM. Bring original certificates and self-attested photocopies of all documents.

Selected candidates need to join immediately within the time informed by the Institute.

• Prepare age-appropriate teaching aids and classroom materials
• Monitor each child's social, emotional and cognitive development
• Support PAC programme activities of RIE Nellore as assigned
