Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) Language Officer Recruitment 2026 - 3 Posts

Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has issued Advertisement No. 03 of 2026-27 for Language Officer (Group-B) posts under the Law Department. This is a small but specialised recruitment for candidates who can work with Odia, English and legal language. The selection has a subjective written examination and viva-voce, so language clarity and law basics matter more than objective MCQ practice.

This post suits candidates who can handle both language and law. The work is likely to involve translation, legal terminology, draft review and official Odia-English communication. Since the written exam is subjective, you should prepare for essay writing, passage translation and basic law papers instead of only MCQ practice.

Vacancy Breakdown

  • Unreserved: 2 posts, including 1 post for women
  • Scheduled Tribe: 1 post
  • Total: 3 Language Officer posts, including 1 woman vacancy

Vacancy note: OPSC has stated that the number of posts can change as per the requirement of the Government of Odisha.
