Who Can Apply?

Registrar

• Qualification: Master's degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade from a recognised university or institute.
• Experience: You need senior teaching, research, or administrative experience. One route is 15 years of administrative experience, with 8 years as Deputy Registrar or equivalent in GP Rs. 7,600 or above.
• Desirable: Qualification or experience in management, engineering, law, computerized administration, legal, financial, or establishment matters.

Librarian and Assistant Librarian

• Librarian: Master's degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA, plus strong library experience as per NIT rules.
• Assistant Librarian: Master's degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation with 60% marks or equivalent grade, plus NET/SLET/SET where required.
• Computerized library service: Knowledge of computerized library work is important for both library posts.

Executive Engineer and Medical Officer

• Executive Engineer: First class B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Electrical Engineering from a recognised university or institute. The advertised post is for the Civil Engineering Wing.
• Medical Officer: MBBS degree or equivalent qualification recognised under the Indian Medical Council Act, with registration in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.

Salary

• Registrar and Librarian: Pay Level 14, approximately Rs. 1,44,200 to Rs. 2,18,200 per month as per 7th CPC pay matrix.
• Assistant Librarian, Executive Engineer, and Medical Officer: Pay Level 10, approximately Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month.
• Technical Assistant: Pay Level 6, approximately Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month.
• Allowances: DA, HRA, medical and other allowances apply as per NIT and Government of India rules.
