National Law University and Judicial Academy (NLUJA), Assam has invited applications for 2 Programme Coordinator and 1 Research Associate post under its Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and Lawyer Fellowship Programmes. These programmes support young lawyers from Scheduled Tribes and other disadvantaged backgrounds across Assam, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh through structured mentorship, courtroom exposure and a one-year fellowship for lawyers with at least two years' standing at the Bar. Both roles are based at the university's Amingaon campus in Guwahati and involve extensive travel across the north-eastern region. The contract period is one year, renewable annually up to three years based on satisfactory performance and continuation of the project, and the University reserves the right to modify the number of positions or terms of engagement depending on project requirements.

Who Can Apply?

For Programme Coordinator (Rs. 60,000/month):

• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized University
• Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, and proficiency in MS Office, digital documentation, spreadsheets and virtual meeting platforms
• Preferred: A Master's Degree in Law, Management, Public Administration or Public Policy is desirable

For Research Associate (Rs. 50,000/month):

• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized University
• Skills: Proficiency in legal databases, MS Office, spreadsheets and digital documentation
• Preferred: A Master's Degree in Law, Public Policy, Criminology, Public Administration or Social Sciences is desirable
• Note: You must be willing to travel to project locations within Assam, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh whenever required

Age Limit

• You should preferably be below 40 years as on the closing date of application (27 July 2026).

Salary

• Programme Coordinator: Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 60,000 per month
• Research Associate: Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 50,000 per month
