National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) Junior Project Fellow Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post
The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is India's apex autonomous body for school education research, curriculum design, and teacher training, working under the Ministry of Education. Through its Department of Education in Social Sciences (DESS), NCERT is recruiting one Junior Project Fellow for a PAC-approved research project titled "Financial Literacy in Schools - A Research Study" for 2026-27. This project studies how well financial literacy concepts are being taught and understood in schools, and the JPF will support the research team in fieldwork, data collection, and analysis. Selection is entirely through a walk-in interview — there is no written exam, so you just need to show up on the interview date with your documents. The position is purely temporary and will continue till 31 March 2027 or till the project ends, whichever is earlier. If you enjoy research work and want hands-on experience at a premier national institute, this is a good short-term opportunity to build your profile.
Who Can Apply?
For Rs. 37,000/month (Consolidated):
- Master's degree in a relevant subject (Social Science / Education / Financial Education) with at least 55% marks, along with a NET or Ph.D. qualification
