NCERT JPF Recruitment 2026: Overview

National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is hiring a Junior Project Fellow (JPF) for its Department of Teacher Education in New Delhi. The fellowship supports PAB Project 45.01, a capacity development programme on equitable and inclusive education for teacher educators from district and state teacher-education institutions. Its specific focus is children with disabilities, placing the fellowship within NCERT’s work on inclusive teacher education. You would join the department on a contractual project appointment for this programme.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Tenure: The fellowship runs up to 31 March 2027. This is the endpoint stated for the engagement under the programme.
  • Temporary appointment: The fellowship gives you no claim to a regular job at NCERT. Consider the offer as a fixed project engagement when planning your next role.
  • Joining: The selected person must join immediately. If you are currently working, take this condition into account when considering your availability.
  • Applicants already employed: Your application must go through your employer, or you must bring employer clearance to the interview. The notice gives these as alternative ways for applicants working with another organisation to meet its permission condition.
  • Travel costs: NCERT will not reimburse travel or daily expenses for attending the interview. You will need to make your own arrangements for the visit.

The walk-in venue is Department of Teacher Education, 3rd Floor, Zakir Hussain Khand, NCERT, New Delhi 110016. The interview begins at 10:00 AM onwards. The department named in the notice is your destination within the NCERT campus; use the building and floor details when planning your visit.
