Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, has released Advertisement No. IGRUA/ADVT/21/2026 for 1 Store Keeper (Engineering) post. You could be posted at the Fursatganj Airfield campus in Amethi (UP) or at Birsi Airport, Gondia (Maharashtra). This is a contractual appointment for 11 months, extendable based on performance. This role is ideal for Ex-Servicemen with an engineering stores background looking for a disciplined, balanced work environment.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification (any one): Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Mechanical stream) from a DGCA-approved AME Institute, OR Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering from a recognized institute/college, OR Graduate in any discipline.
• Experience: You need a minimum of 5 years of working experience in the Engineering Stores of any General Aviation or Flying Training Organization, along with knowledge of inventory management and bonded/tools stores.
• Desirable: Knowledge of GeM (Government e-Marketplace) is an added advantage.
• Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply.

Age Limit

• You should be up to 55 years old as on 01 July 2026.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a fixed salary of Rs. 40,000 per month.
• You will also get a Transport Allowance of Rs. 1,800 per month and an Aviation Allowance of Rs. 300 per month.
• Additional allowances include a Medical Allowance of Rs. 25,000 per year, Schedule Allowance, Overtime, Shift Allowance, and TA/DA for outstation duties.

Selection Process

IGRUA will shortlist candidates based on qualifications and experience, then call them for further rounds:

2. Written Test/Interview: Only shortlisted candidates are called. Online interviews may be conducted, with the meeting link shared on your email a day in advance.
3. Document Verification and Medical Fitness: Your appointment depends on verification of documents and a medical fitness check.

Important Dates

• Assist the Store Officer and Engineers in maintaining inventory in the Bonded/Tools Stores
• Review stock levels regularly in coordination with CAMO
• Operate store management software and update ledger and bin cards
• Process the issue and receipt of spare parts and tools
• Track expiry of shelf-life and storage-life items including tools, consumables, and instruments
• Maintain release documents for stores and equipment
• Support CAMO in closing Work Orders and complete technical duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer
