Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA), India's premier flying training institute under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, has released Advertisement No. IGRUA/ADVT/27/2026 to fill 2 Simulator Instructor posts. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must hold a current Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Multi-Engine flying experience.
• Preferred: A current CPL along with an Assistant Flight Instructor Rating (AFIR) is desirable, though not mandatory.
• Nationality: Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for this post.

Age Limit

• You should not be more than 55 years old as on 01 August 2026.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 40,000.
• On top of this, you will get a Transport Allowance of Rs. 1,800/month and an Aviation Allowance of Rs. 300/month.
• This is a fixed monthly amount for the contract period, not a regular government pay scale.

Selection Process

IGRUA will select candidates through the following stages:

1. Application Screening: Your CV and certificates will be checked against the essential qualification.
2. Written Test/Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test and/or interview. Interviews may be conducted online, with the link shared on your email a day in advance.
3. Document Verification: Your certificates and experience letters will be verified before appointment.
4. Medical Fitness: Your final appointment is subject to a medical fitness check.
