Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA), India's premier flying training institute under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, has released Advertisement No. IGRUA/ADVT/18/2026 to fill 1 Plumber post at its campus in Fursatganj Airfield, Amethi. This is a contractual position for 11 months, which can be extended based on requirement. No fixed written exam pattern is prescribed — only shortlisted candidates are called for a written test and/or interview, which may be conducted online. Candidates with hands-on plumbing experience in government departments, private firms, or their own proprietorship work should apply. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification (Option 1): 8th class pass with an NSQF Level-3 certificate (issued by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship) plus 1 year of work experience in any proprietorship firm, private firm, or government department.
• Qualification (Option 2): ITI in the relevant trade plus 2 years of work experience in any proprietorship firm, private firm, or government department.
• Qualification (Option 3): 8th class pass plus 5 years of work experience in any proprietorship firm, private firm, or government department.
• Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply.

Age Limit

• You should not be older than 45 years as on 1 June 2026.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a fixed salary of Rs. 20,000 per month.
• This is a consolidated, fixed remuneration for the entire contract period.
• Quarters/accommodation on the IGRUA campus may be provided, subject to availability.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in these stages:

1. Shortlisting: Applications are screened based on your qualification and experience.
2. Written Test/Interview: Only shortlisted candidates are called for a written test and/or interview, which may be conducted online with the link shared over email a day in advance.
3. Document Verification: You must produce original certificates for verification.
4. Medical Fitness Check: Your final appointment depends on medical fitness clearance.

This is a purely contractual engagement and does not create any right to a regular appointment or absorption at IGRUA. Any form of canvassing will lead to disqualification, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Lucknow.
