Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) is hiring 2 HR officers for its Corporate Office in New Delhi, at the level of Sr. Deputy General Manager (HR) or Deputy General Manager (HR). This is a deputation posting open only to serving officers of Central Government departments and Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) who already hold an equivalent grade. Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) is a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, responsible for executing major rail infrastructure projects such as new lines, gauge conversion, doubling, electrification, and metro rail works across India. RVNL has released Vacancy Notice No. 2026/RVNL/40-HR for filling 2 posts in its HR Department at the Corporate Office in New Delhi. The engagement is on a deputation basis for five years, subject to government approval for exemption from the rule of immediate absorption. RVNL is giving preference to officers with hands-on experience in HRMS, ERP, recruitment, and other HR functions in CPSEs and government organizations, so this is a good opportunity for HR professionals already working in the public sector who want to move into a growing railway infrastructure PSU with projects across the country and abroad.

Who Can Apply?

For Sr. Deputy General Manager (HR) - Level-12 (CDA) / E-5 (IDA), Rs. 80,000-2,20,000:

• You should be holding a post in an analogous grade (CDA or IDA) on a substantive basis, OR
• You should be in a Senior Scale post (Level-11), OR
• You should be in a Group 'B' Gazetted post (Level-10) with at least 10 years of service in Group 'B' (Gazetted), OR
• You should be holding a post carrying IDA grade E-4 (Rs. 70,000-2,00,000) for at least 4 years.

For Deputy General Manager (HR) - Level-11 (CDA) / IDA E-4, Rs. 70,000-2,00,000:

• You should be holding a post in an analogous grade (CDA or IDA) on a substantive basis, OR
• You should be a Group 'B' officer in Level-10/Level-8 (CDA) with at least 4 years of service in Group 'B' (Gazetted), OR
• You should be holding a post carrying IDA grade E-3 (Rs. 60,000-1,80,000) for at least 4 years.

Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in HRMS, ERP, recruitment, and other HR functions in CPSEs and Government organizations.

• You must not be currently debarred from applying for deputation.
• If you have returned from a previous deputation or foreign assignment, your cooling-off period must be completed before you apply.

Age Limit

• You should be below 56 years of age as on the closing date of the vacancy notice (7 August 2026).

Salary

• Sr. DGM (HR): Level-12 (CDA) / IDA Grade E-5, in the range of Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 2,20,000 per month.
• DGM (HR): Level-11 (CDA) / IDA Grade E-4, in the range of Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 2,00,000 per month.
• Since this is a deputation post, you will continue to draw your parent pay plus deputation allowance as per government rules, rather than a fixed RVNL pay scale.
