Who Can Apply?

You must be a serving officer in a government department or a PSU and apply through proper channel. The eligibility differs by grade:

For Sr. Manager (Vigilance) — Level-10 (CDA) / IDA E-3 (Rs. 60,000-1,80,000)

• Officers holding posts in an analogous grade (CDA/IDA), OR
• Officers in Level-8, Group 'B' (Gazetted), OR
• Officers in IDA E-2 (Rs. 50,000-1,60,000) grade for at least four years

For Manager (Vigilance) — Level-8 (CDA) / IDA E-2 (Rs. 50,000-1,60,000)

• Officers holding posts in an analogous grade (Level-8), OR
• Officers in substantive posts in Level-7, OR
• Officers in analogous IDA E-2 (Rs. 50,000-1,60,000) grade, OR
• Officers in IDA E-1 (Rs. 40,000-1,40,000) grade for at least four years

Preference is given to officers with at least 3 years of experience in a Vigilance unit, who are comfortable working in a computerised environment, and who are physically fit for outdoor travel and field duty.

Age Limit

• You should be below 56 years of age.
• Age and eligibility are counted as on the closing date of the vacancy notice.

Salary

• Sr. Manager: IDA E-3 scale Rs. 60,000 - Rs. 1,80,000 per month
• Manager: IDA E-2 scale Rs. 50,000 - Rs. 1,60,000 per month
• On deputation, you can choose either IDA pay OR your cadre pay plus deputation allowance, whichever you prefer.

Selection Process

There is no written exam for this deputation post. Selection is based on:

1. Screening of applications: Only eligible candidates forwarded through proper channel are considered.
2. Vigilance / DAR clearance: Your controlling officer must forward your Vigilance/DAR clearance and last 5 years of APAR grading.
3. Final selection by RVNL based on eligibility, experience and suitability.

• Review complaints and recommend disciplinary action where needed
