Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a Navratna Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has released Vacancy Notice No. 2026/RVNL/36-FIN for 1 Executive Director (Finance) post at its Corporate Office in New Delhi. This is a senior leadership role filled on immediate absorption basis. The post is open to serving officers in the Finance and Accounts discipline who hold the right grade and experience. Selection is based on your eligibility and experience, followed by an interview.

Educational Qualification

• The educational qualification that applies to your parent cadre or service will be treated as enough for this post.

Experience

• You must be working in the Finance or Accounts discipline with strong experience in areas like finance, accounts, treasury management, budgeting, fund management, audit, taxation, financial planning, financial concurrence, project finance, and financial closure of projects.
• Experience in CPSEs or government organisations that build and run large infrastructure projects is preferred.

Minimum Eligibility (for serving officials, including those on deputation)

• Holding a post in an analogous grade, that is Level-15 (CDA) or E-9 (IDA), OR
• Holding a post in Level-14 (CDA) with at least 25 years of Group A service, OR
• Holding a post in IDA E-8 (Rs. 1,20,000 to Rs. 2,80,000) with at least 4 years of service in that grade.

Age Limit

• Your age must be not above 57 years.
• The cut-off date for age and eligibility is the closing date of the vacancy notice (24 July 2026).

Salary

• The pay scale is IDA E-9: Rs. 1,50,000 to Rs. 3,00,000 per month.
• You will also get attractive allowances and fringe benefits attached to this post and grade, as per the IDA pattern scale of pay.

Selection Process

Selection is done in these steps:

1. Shortlisting: Suitable candidates are shortlisted based on their eligibility and experience in the relevant field.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for an interview.
3. Medical Examination: If selected, you must be physically and medically fit and will undergo a medical exam as per RVNL's policy.
