NPCIL CA CMA Intern Recruitment 2026: Overview

Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), under the Department of Atomic Energy, is offering practical training in Finance and Accounts at its headquarters and units. The engagement supports the training needs of students pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA) or Cost and Management Accountancy (CMA). This is an internship, and completing it does not give you a right to a regular job with NPCIL.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Training locations: The notice covers Mumbai headquarters and units in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Haryana. You can state preferences for more than one location in your application.
• Tenure: Training initially lasts up to 12 months. NPCIL may extend it by a further period of up to 12 months, depending on institutional requirements and your performance.
• Completion certificate: NPCIL issues the certificate after you complete the training period. Absence beyond permitted leave can mean you need to make up the training duration.
• Working schedule: You will attend the general shift for 8 hours a day, including a 1-hour lunch break, on 5 days each week.
• Paid leave: You receive 1 day of paid leave per month, giving 12 days during a full year. The same monthly rate applies proportionately during an extension; other absence brings a proportionate stipend deduction.
• Institute activities: Attendance at your institute's examinations or approved conferences and seminars can count towards attendance when the institute certifies it.
• Accommodation: Units may provide a single room or basic accommodation against the normal licence fee. The notice separately provides an accommodation allowance when accommodation is unavailable.
• Facilities: Site transport is free when available. Free medical support is limited to outpatient and first-aid facilities.
• Training status: You remain a trainee during the engagement. The notice distinguishes this status from employment and separately provides for compensation for injuries arising during training.
• Conduct and safety: Follow the site's discipline, safety and security instructions throughout training. A breach can end the traineeship without notice.
• Availability of places: Offers depend partly on when existing interns complete their training or receive extensions. NPCIL may hold, cancel or delay a selection until a place becomes available.
• Waitlist: The reserve panel can operate for up to one year from approval, subject to the notice's conditions. A fresh advertisement can end its operation earlier.
• Communication: Keep your registered email address and mobile number active for at least one year. NPCIL does not allow a change of the registered email address.
• Employment after training: NPCIL has no obligation to offer you employment after the internship. Plan for this as a fixed training engagement.
