Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient and inpatient medical care to patients at government medical colleges and hospitals
  • Conduct clinical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and prescribe appropriate treatments
  • Assist senior doctors and professors during surgeries, ward rounds, and emergency duties
  • Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation as per hospital protocols
  • Participate in teaching and training of medical students and interns at the college
  • Work in shifts including night duty, emergency duty, and on-call duty as assigned
  • Follow infection control guidelines and standard medical procedures at all times
  • Contribute to public health programmes and medical camps organized by the state government
