DATI Nashik Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Divisional Administrative Training Institute, Nashik (DATI Nashik), also called the Nashik Revenue Training Academy, wants serving government officers to join its faculty on deputation. The institute works under the General Administration Department, Government of Maharashtra and trains Group-B and Group-C officers and staff in day-to-day administrative work.

This round fills Assistant Professor posts in six subject streams, one combined Registrar cum Assistant Professor post and a Librarian post. These are foreign service deputation posts, so only people already working in government service can apply. • Assistant Professor, Rural and Agricultural Development (Group-A): for officers who know rural development and agriculture schemes.
• Assistant Professor, Social Welfare and Tribal Development (Group-A): for officers from the social welfare or tribal development side.
• Assistant Professor, Urban Development (Group-A): for officers with an urban development background.
• Assistant Professor, Engineering and Health Services (Group-A): for officers linked to engineering or health services subjects.
• Assistant Professor, Finance (Group-A): for officers who handle government finance subjects.
• Librarian (Group-C): the only Group-C post in this round, looking after the institute's library.

The duties of each post and the method of filling them are laid down in the General Administration Department's Government Resolution dated 11 May 2015.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Serving staff only: People who are not currently in government service should not apply. You must attach a certificate signed by your head of office confirming that you are in service.
• Matching pay structure: The posts are meant for officers and employees already in the matching pay structure. If no one from that pay structure is available, applications are considered under the government resolutions in force.
• Deputation rules: The deputation terms in the General Administration Department's resolutions of 17 December 2016 and 16 February 2018 apply, and every application is judged against them.
• Clean record: You need to declare that no departmental inquiry is pending against you.
• Earlier applicants: If you applied against the institute's 2024-25 advertisements, do not apply again. The government did not approve those applications.
• Next steps after selection: The institute sends the names of officers picked at the interview to the General Administration Department for further action.
