Mira Bhaindar Municipal Corporation (MBMC), Public Health Department, has released a recruitment notification (Advt. No. MNPA/SARV.A.VI./167/2026-27, dated 16 April 2026) for 113 contractual vacancies under four health programmes: National Health Mission (NHM), National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP), 15th Finance Commission (Urban Ayushman Arogya Mandir), and Hindu Hridaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Aapla Dawakhana (HBT). There is no written exam — selection is based on a merit scoring system (academic marks + experience) or direct interview for senior medical posts. Both MBBS doctors and 12th pass paramedical candidates are eligible for different posts.

Who Can Apply?

Medical Officers / Specialists (MBBS posts)

• You need an MBBS degree with MCI Registration / MMC Registration for Medical Officer posts.
• For Radiologist: MD Radiology or DMRD required.
• For Paediatrician: MD Paediatrics, DCH, or DNB required.
• For Microbiologist: MD Microbiology required.
• For Epidemiologist: MBBS or health graduate with MPH/MHA/MBA in Health required.
• For Part-time Specialists: MD/MS in the relevant specialty or DNB required.

BAMS Posts (if MBBS not available)

• B.A.M.S with MCIM Registration accepted for Medical Officer posts where MBBS candidates are not available.
• BAMS candidates get Rs. 40,000/month (Rs. 25,000 basic + Rs. 15,000 PBI).

Nursing Posts

• You need a B.Sc Nursing or GNM certificate with MNC (Maharashtra Nursing Council) Registration for Staff Nurse posts.
• For ANM: ANM certificate with MNC Registration required.

Public Health Manager

• MBBS or Graduate in Health Sciences (B.D.S/B.A.M.S/B.H.M.S/B.U.M.S/B.P.Th/Nursing Basic/B.Pharm) plus MPH/MHA/MBA in Healthcare Administration required.

Pharmacist

• D.Pharma with MPC (Maharashtra Pharmacy Council) registration required.

Lab Technician

• B.Sc with DMLT and paramedical council registration required.

MPW (Male) / TB Health Worker

• You need 12th pass in Science plus Paramedical Basic Training Course OR Sanitary Inspector Course.
• For TB Health Worker: Graduate in Science OR 12th (10+2) in science with experience as MPW/LHV/ANM/Health Worker or certificate in Health Education/Counselling OR TB Health Visitor's recognized course, plus computer certificate (minimum 2 months).

Senior TB Lab Supervisor

• Graduate or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a govt-recognized institution, with paramedical council registration, two-wheeler driving licence, computer certificate (min 2 months), and minimum 1 year NTEP experience preferred.

All candidates must be Maharashtra domicile and must be able to read, write, and speak Marathi.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Medical Officers (MBBS), Specialists (Radiologist, Paediatrician, Microbiologist): Up to 69 years
• Nursing and Paramedical Staff: Up to 64 years
• All other posts — General/Open category: Up to 38 years
• All other posts — Reserved category: Up to 43 years
• Age is calculated as on the date of publication of the advertisement (16 April 2026).
• Applicants above 60 years must submit a physical fitness certificate from a Civil Surgeon.
• Candidates already working under NHM on a contractual basis have no upper age bar when applying for another post within NHM.

Salary

• Radiologist / Paediatrician / Microbiologist: Rs. 65,000 per month
• Medical Officer (MBBS) — NHM, 15th FC, HBT: Rs. 60,000 per month
• Medical Officer (BAMS) — 15th FC, HBT: Rs. 40,000 per month (Rs. 25,000 + Rs. 15,000 PBI)
• Epidemiologist: Rs. 35,000 per month
• Public Health Manager: Rs. 32,000 per month
• Part-time Specialists: Rs. 2,000 per visit (15 visits per month = Rs. 30,000 max)
• Staff Nurse (Male/Female): Rs. 20,000 per month
• Senior TB Lab Supervisor: Rs. 20,000 per month
• ANM / MPW (Male): Rs. 18,000 per month
• Pharmacist / Lab Technician: Rs. 19,000 per month
• TB Health Worker: Rs. 15,500 per month

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam. Selection is based on merit scoring in 2 stages:

1. Direct Interview (for Specialists, Radiologist, Paediatrician, Microbiologist, MBBS Medical Officers): Scored on Subject Knowledge (10), Research & Academic Knowledge (10), Leadership Quality (10), Administrative Abilities (10), and Experience (10) — total 50 marks. Government experience: 2 marks/year; Private experience: 1 mark/year (max 10 marks for experience).
2. Merit-Based Scoring (all other posts): Total 100 marks — Minimum qualification marks (50 marks, based on percentage in final year), Additional/higher qualification (20 marks), Required experience (6 marks per year, max 30 marks).

After scoring, candidates equal to 50% of vacancies are called for document verification. Candidates absent on document verification day are disqualified.
