Asifabad AYUSH Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Office of the District Collector and Magistrate, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad District is hiring staff for the National AYUSH Mission (NAM) public health programme in the district. The posts belong to the Department of AYUSH, Telangana, and the people selected will work under the administrative control of the Director of AYUSH at Secunderabad.

These are outsourcing-basis engagements, not regular government posts. The state cleared these AYUSH service positions through a Finance Department order in August 2026, and this notice fills the share sanctioned for Asifabad. A District Selection Committee chaired by the District Collector runs the selection. The roles range from AYUSH doctors to field workers who only need a Class 7 pass, so applicants with very different education levels can find a fit here.

Posts and Disciplines

• AYUSH Doctor with PG Qualification: the senior clinical role, meant for doctors who hold a postgraduate degree in Ayurveda, Unani, Homoeopathy or Naturopathy.
• AYUSH Medical Officer: the main clinical post for graduates of a 4½-year Ayurveda, Unani, Homoeopathy or Naturopathy degree with a one-year internship; one seat falls on the SC (Group-II) roster point.
• Dietician: a nutrition role for B.Sc Nutrition graduates within the AYUSH public health programme.
• Psychosocial Counselor: an on-call role for MSW holders; the district may keep a panel of eligible counsellors and call them only when needed, with payment per session.
• Yoga Professional: open to holders of a 4½-year Naturopathy degree or a Diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences.
• Multi Purpose Worker (MPW): a field post for Class 7 pass candidates who can ride a bicycle or motorcycle; one seat follows the SC (Group-II) roster point.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The engagement runs up to 31 March 2027. After that, you continue only if the work is still needed and your performance is satisfactory.
• Outsourcing basis: You are engaged through outsourcing; the notice does not mention regularisation.
• Unit of appointment: The AYUSH Doctor (PG) and AYUSH Medical Officer posts are multi-zonal cadre — you can apply in any district of the multi zone, but you will be selected for one district only. The Dietician, Psychosocial Counselor, Yoga Professional and MPW posts are district cadre.
• Local reservation: Reservation for local candidates follows the Presidential Order. Community, disability and ex-servicemen reservation follow the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996.
• Registration: Doctor and Medical Officer applicants must attach their Board of Indian Medicine registration certificate.
• Merit list: The district will put the merit list on its website, and the final selection list follows the rule of reservation.

This is an offline application. Download the application form and the acknowledgement card from the Kumuram Bheem Asifabad district website, fill them in, and attach self-attested copies of your certificates along with one photograph pasted on the form.

The office accepts forms on working days between 10:30 AM and 5:00 PM. The selection committee is not responsible for postal delays, so post early or deliver it yourself.
