King George's Medical University (KGMU) Research Project Recruitment 2026 - 5 Posts

King George's Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow has released a walk-in interview notice for research project posts under the Department of Health Research funded Multidisciplinary Research Unit (DHR-MRU) Centre of Research Excellence (CoRE). These posts are linked to two projects: tuberculous meningitis biomarker research and in-house 3D ophthalmic prosthesis printing. This is a purely contractual project appointment, so the role can end as per project rules and DHR/ICMR guidelines.

The first project is about biomarker signatures for early detection of paradoxical reaction and disability in tuberculous meningitis. The second project is about in-house 3D ophthalmic prosthesis printing. Because the notice covers both laboratory and 3D printing work, KGMU has listed different qualifications for scientist, life science, dental mechanics, and project technical support profiles.

The notice is useful for people who want hands-on medical research work at a government medical university. The Research Scientist posts need a stronger medical, biotechnology, or life science background, while the Project Technical Support posts are open for 12th Science with Dental Mechanics diploma or postgraduate life science backgrounds, depending on the post. You should choose the post carefully before emailing your CV because each role has a different salary and qualification route.
