Kerala PSC Junior Health Inspector Recruitment 2026

Kerala PSC is hiring 1 Junior Health Inspector Gr.II in the Health Services Department for Alappuzha district. This is a Special Recruitment for Scheduled Tribe candidates of Kerala only. Kerala PSC Junior Health Inspector Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) has released Category No. 36/2026 for Junior Health Inspector Gr.II in the Health Services Department. The vacancy is for Alappuzha district, and the ranked list will be prepared district-wise. Only Scheduled Tribe candidates from Kerala can apply; applications from other communities will be rejected.

The ranked list will normally stay valid for at least 1 year and can continue up to 3 years, unless a new list is published earlier after the minimum period. Kerala PSC can also use this list for later ST special-recruitment vacancies reported for the same post and district while the list is active.

Who Can Apply?

Community Requirement

• Special Recruitment: You must belong to the Scheduled Tribe community of Kerala State.
• District Rule: The appointment is district-wise for Alappuzha. Transfer to another district is normally not allowed until you complete 5 years of continuous service.

Educational Qualification

• General Qualification: You must have passed Plus Two with Science subjects or an equivalent exam from a recognised institution.
• Technical Qualification: You need a Diploma in Health Inspector course conducted by the Director of Health Services or another institution recognised by the Government of Kerala.
• Registration: You must have valid Kerala Paramedical Council registration.
• Equivalent Qualification: Higher or equivalent qualifications accepted by Kerala Government orders can be considered when the Commission asks for proof.
• Probation: After appointment, the post has 2 years of probation on duty within a continuous period of 3 years.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 45 years old.
• You must be born between 02 January 1981 and 01 January 2008, including both dates.
• Relaxation: If enough qualified candidates are not available in the normal age range, the upper age limit may be relaxed up to 50 years. It cannot go beyond 50 years.

Salary

• Pay scale: Rs. 31,100 to Rs. 66,800 per month.
• You will also get allowances as per Kerala Government rules, wherever applicable.
• The post has a probation period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years.

Selection Process

The final selection will be based on the Kerala PSC ranked list prepared for this notification and district.

5. Ranked List and Advice: Appointment will be made from the ranked list for Alappuzha district, including eligible headquarters vacancies as per government rules.
6. Profile Messages: If Kerala PSC asks you to upload documents through your profile, complete it within the time allowed or you may not move to the next stage.
