Kerala PSC Electrician Recruitment 2026

The Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) is hiring 1 Electrician for the Kerala State Film Development Corporation Ltd. This is a special recruitment reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates of Kerala. Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) Electrician Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Kerala PSC has released notification Category No. 066/2026 for one Electrician post in the Kerala State Film Development Corporation Ltd. This is the Third NCA (backlog) notification, issued because a qualified Scheduled Caste candidate was not available in the earlier ranked list. Only candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste community of Kerala can apply - applications from other communities will be rejected. The ranked list from this notification stays valid until the reserved vacancy is filled.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering. In the absence of diploma holders, an ITI certificate in the relevant trade is accepted.
• Community: You must belong to the Scheduled Caste community of Kerala.
• Experience: Candidates with relevant experience are preferred. If SC candidates with experience are not available, SC candidates without experience will also be considered.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 45 years old as on 1 January 2026 (born between 2 January 1981 and 1 January 2008).
• Age Relaxation: Provisional hands working in the corporation get relaxation up to 5 years equal to their provisional service. In no case will the upper age exceed 50 years.

Salary

• The pay scale is Rs. 19,000 to Rs. 43,600 per month.
• You will also get allowances as per the rules of the corporation.
• A probation period applies as per the Special Rules of the Kerala State Film Development Corporation Ltd.

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting: Applications are screened for eligibility based on the SC community and qualification.
2. Written / OMR / Online Test: If a test is conducted, confirm your attendance through your One Time Registration profile and download the admission ticket in the last 15 days before the test.
3. Certificate Verification: Originals proving qualification, experience, age and community are checked.
4. Ranked List: Kerala PSC publishes a ranked list and advises appointment.

3. Log in with your User-ID and password.
4. Click 'Apply Now' against the Electrician post (Category No. 066/2026).
5. Add your Aadhaar Card as ID proof and submit.
