Kerala PSC is hiring for 1 Pharmacist Grade-II (Ayurveda) post in the Indian Systems of Medicine department, Palakkad district. The Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) has released Category No. 070/2026, a Tenth NCA notification, to fill one Pharmacist Grade-II (Ayurveda) vacancy in the Indian Systems of Medicine department. This vacancy is reserved only for the Scheduled Caste Converted to Christianity (SCCC) community of Kerala State — applications from other communities will be rejected without any notice. A ranked list will be prepared for the Palakkad district, so the selected candidate will work within that district.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have passed SSLC (Class 10) or an equivalent exam.
• Certificate: You need a Certificate in the Ayurveda Pharmacist course recognised by the Government of Kerala.
• Community: Only candidates from the Scheduled Caste Converted to Christianity (SCCC) community of Kerala can apply.
• District: You must apply for the Palakkad district, where the vacancy exists.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 43 years old — that is, born between 2 January 1983 and 1 January 2008 (both dates included).
• Age Relaxation: For adult members of Scheduled Castes converted to Christianity and their children, the upper age limit is 45 years (born between 2 January 1981 and 1 January 2008).
• Even after all concessions, the maximum age can never cross 50 years.

Salary

• The selected candidate will get a pay scale of Rs. 27,900 to Rs. 63,700 per month.
• You will also get Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) and other allowances as per Kerala Government rules.

Selection Process

Selection is made on a Revenue District basis for Palakkad. The Commission prepares a ranked list and makes appointments from it.

1. Written Test / OMR / Online Test (if held): If the Commission conducts a test for this selection, you must confirm your attendance through your One Time Registration profile and download the admission ticket.
2. Ranked List: A district-wise ranked list is published for Palakkad based on merit.
3. Document Verification: You must produce original documents proving your qualification, age and community when called.
