Who Can Apply?

For Full-Time/Part-Time Specialists:

• PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty, registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI).
• Experience: 3 years after a PG Degree, OR 5 years after a PG Diploma, in the concerned specialty.

For Specialist (Endodontist):

• PG Degree (MDS) in the concerned specialty, registered with the Dental Council of India (DCI).
• Experience: 3 years in a dental/medical college after the PG degree.

For Senior Resident:

• PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty, registered with MCI. Preference goes to PG-qualified candidates.
• If no PG candidates are available in a specialty, candidates with 2 years' experience after MBBS may also be considered.

For Senior Resident against GDMO (Dentistry):

• A recognized Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree, registered with any State Dental Council or Tribunal in India.
• Experience: 2 years mandatory after the degree. Preference to candidates with a PG qualification and/or government organisation experience.

Age Limit

• Full-Time/Part-Time Specialists & Specialist (Endodontist): Not exceeding 69 years as on the date of interview. Tenure beyond 70 years is not allowed.
• Senior Resident & Senior Resident against GDMO (Dentistry): Not exceeding 45 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxation is available for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per government rules.

Salary

• Full-Time Specialists: As per ESIC headquarters guidelines (letters dated 13.04.2022 and 08.12.2022).
• Part-Time Specialists: Rs. 60,000 per month for 16 hours/week (maximum 4 hours/day), plus an additional Rs. 15,000 if opting for emergency visits, and Rs. 800 for every extra hour beyond 16 hours/week.
• Senior Resident: Rs. 1,37,837 per month plus TA and DA on TA (for PG-degree holders). Rs. 1,350 is deducted for Diploma-only holders and Rs. 2,250 for those without a Diploma/Degree.
• Senior Resident against GDMO (Dentistry): Basic pay of Rs. 56,100 per month (Pay Level 10, 7th CPC) plus DA, HRA, NPA, and TA as applicable.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done directly through a walk-in interview:

1. Document Verification: Report 1 hour before your scheduled interview time with original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies.
2. Walk-in Interview: Held between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on your scheduled date.

The cut-off date for age and qualification is the date of the interview.
