Who Can Apply?

Medical Officer (Rs. 60,000/month):

• You need an MBBS degree from a recognized institute. Preference will be given to candidates with an MD or equivalent qualification in Psychiatry.

Staff Nurse (Rs. 20,000/month):

• You need an ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) qualification. Preference will be given to GNM or B.Sc Nursing candidates.

Counsellor (Rs. 20,000/month):

• You need a Graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology.

Age Limit

• Medical Officer: up to 62 years.
• Staff Nurse and Counsellor: up to 43 years each.

Salary

• The Medical Officer will get a fixed consolidated pay of Rs. 60,000 per month.
• The Staff Nurse and Counsellor will each get a fixed consolidated pay of Rs. 20,000 per month.
• No allowance or facility other than this consolidated pay is admissible.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

LGBRIMH selects candidates directly through a walk-in interview:

1. Document Screening: Bring all original certificates and testimonials for verification.
2. Walk-in Interview: Held at the MS Conference Room, Administrative Building, LGBRIMH, Tezpur on 12 August 2026 from 10:00 AM onwards.

Terms of Appointment

• If you are already working elsewhere, you must produce a Relieving Certificate from your present employer before joining.
