ACTREC, a Grant-in-Aid institute of the Department of Atomic Energy affiliated with Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) and Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI), has released Advertisement No. ACTREC/ADVT/A-07/2026 for 3 permanent medical positions — Medical Officer (Radiodiagnosis), Clinician Scientist (Cellular Therapy), and Medical Officer (Infectious Diseases). Who Can Apply?
For Medical Officer 'E' (Radiodiagnosis):
- Qualification: M.D. / D.N.B. (Radiology / Radio-diagnosis) or an equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Experience: 3 years' post M.D./D.N.B. experience in Radiodiagnosis in a teaching hospital.
For Clinician Scientist - Cellular Therapy 'E':
- Qualification: M.D. / M.S. in any field or an equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by NMC.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years' laboratory-based experience in Cellular Therapy for malignancies.
For Medical Officer 'E' (Infectious Diseases):
- Qualification: DM Infectious Disease or an equivalent postgraduate degree, OR MD Medicine/Paediatrics with a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases of at least 1 year.
- Experience: 3 years' post-MD experience in an Infectious Diseases unit. Experience in Transplant Infectious Diseases is desirable.
Age Limit
- You should be up to 45 years old as on 7 August 2026 for all three posts.
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwD (plus 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC PwD candidates), and length of armed forces service plus 3 years for Ex-servicemen.
Salary
- Selected candidates get an initial pay of Rs. 78,800 per month under Level 12 (Pre-revised PB-3, Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay 7,600) of the 7th Central Pay Commission.
- You will also get DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per Tata Memorial Centre rules, plus medical facility, institutional support for conferences/training after probation, and residential accommodation subject to availability.
- Performance Incentives: Medical staff are eligible for additional incentives based on individual and institutional performance.
- Once selected, you may be posted to any unit of TMC — including Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai, ACTREC Navi Mumbai, or the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospitals at Sangrur, Mullanpur, Vizag, Varanasi (BHU and BBCI), Guwahati, or Muzaffarpur — based on institutional requirements, and you would need to serve at your posted location for a minimum of 5 years before requesting a transfer.

Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic, treatment planning, or clinical care support in radiodiagnosis, cellular therapy, or infectious diseases as per your specialization
- Conduct patient consultations, diagnosis, and treatment under ACTREC's cancer care protocols
- Carry out clinical and laboratory research relevant to your department
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across radiology, oncology, and laboratory departments
- Mentor postgraduate students and participate in teaching activities as per NMC norms
- Participate in institutional training, workshops, and conferences after your probation is closed
- Follow all clinical safety, ethics, and quality protocols set by Tata Memorial Centre
