IPRCL Manager Traffic Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Indian Port Rail and Ropeway Corporation Limited (IPRCL) has issued vacancy circular RE-17/2026 dated 04 June 2026 for the post of Manager (Traffic). IPRCL is a company under the Ministry of Port, Shipping and Waterways and works on rail connectivity, port logistics, and rail evacuation systems for major ports. This is a re-employment post, so it is mainly for retired officers who already have traffic planning and train operation experience.

The appointment is on an annual contract basis and can be extended further based on performance and company requirement. The selected person will work at Bhubaneswar.

Who Can Apply?

Eligible Retired Officers

• Service background: You should have taken voluntary retirement or retired on superannuation from Railways, other government departments, Central PSUs, ports, or government-controlled JV companies.
• Experience: You must have service experience in Traffic Planning.

Pay-Scale Eligibility

• CDA scale: Retired in PB-2 with Grade Pay 4600 under pre-revised 6th CPC, revised to Matrix Level 7 under 7th CPC.
• IDA scale: Retired in E-2 IDA scale Rs. 20,600 to Rs. 46,500 under pre-revised 2nd PRC, revised to Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,60,000 under 3rd PRC.
• Higher grade pay or pay scale granted under ACP/MACP will not be counted for this eligibility.

Specific Requirement

• You should have experience in conceptual plans, Engineering Scale Plans, Yard Plans, General Arrangement Drawings, Traffic Study, Port Logistics, Railway Operations, SIP, DPR, and related traffic planning work.
• You should be expert in handling train operations.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: Up to 63 years.
• Age will be counted as on the last date for receiving applications, 24 June 2026.

Salary

• Pay scale: E-2 / Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,60,000.
• Starting basic pay: Rs. 50,000 per month.
• IDA and HRA are admissible as per rules.
• Perks under cafeteria: 20% of basic pay.
• Transport allowance: 10% of basic pay if a company vehicle is not provided.
• Mobile/landline/broadband reimbursement: up to Rs. 1,000 per month.
• No Performance Related Pay is payable for this re-employment post.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)
