IPRCL DGM Projects Recruitment 2026: Overview

Indian Port Rail and Ropeway Corporation Limited (IPRCL) needs a Dy. General Manager (Projects) for its site at Phusro in Jharkhand, under Vacancy Circular No. RE-22/2026. IPRCL is a joint venture of 11 Major Ports and Rail Vikas Nigam Limited under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. It builds the rail links that help ports move cargo out faster.

This is a re-employment opening. It is meant for officers who have already retired, or taken voluntary retirement, and still want to run large infrastructure work. IPRCL released it on the same day as several other re-employment circulars for its project sites. Each of those circulars has its own post, place of posting and envelope label.

Your field background matters as much as your old rank. IPRCL wants officers with hands-on experience executing infrastructure projects, such as railway track, underground or elevated metro lines, railway projects, multistoried buildings, or railway maintenance and operations.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Upgraded pay does not count: a higher grade pay or pay scale you got from your parent department under ACP, MACP or NF is ignored when IPRCL checks the grade you retired in.
• Nature of engagement: You work on an annual re-employment contract. It can be extended based on your performance and the company's needs.
• Performance pay: No performance-related pay is given on this contract.
• Cut-off for eligibility: Your age, experience and other eligibility are checked as on the last date for receipt of applications.
• Shortlisting: If five or more qualified officers apply for the vacancy, IPRCL may call applicants in a 1:5 ratio based on their relevant experience.
• Service rules: Your appointment follows the IPRCL Service and Conduct, Discipline and Appeal Rules, as amended from time to time.
• Changes to the circular: IPRCL may change the eligibility, the number of posts or cancel the circular. Updates appear only on the IPRCL website.
• Legal disputes: Any dispute falls under the courts in Mumbai only.

Send the hard copy by post or courier, or drop it by hand, at Chief General Manager (HR), Indian Port Rail and Ropeway Corporation Limited, 4th Floor, Nirman Bhavan, Mumbai Port Trust Building, M.P. Road, Mazgaon (East), Mumbai – 400010. Write "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF Dy. General Manager (Projects)" on the top-left side of the envelope.

The application must reach IPRCL by the last date. IPRCL takes no responsibility for postal delays, and late, incomplete or wrong-format applications are rejected, so post it early.
