IPRCL Deputy Manager Traffic Recruitment 2026: Overview

Indian Port Rail and Ropeway Corporation Limited (IPRCL) is hiring Deputy Manager (Traffic) officers for its rail project sites at Junadih, Laxman and Sardega. IPRCL is a joint venture of 11 Major Ports and Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), and it works under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. The company was set up in 2015 to build rail links that move cargo in and out of ports faster.

This is a re-employment opening for retired officers, not a fresh-entry job. If you retired on superannuation or took voluntary retirement from the Railways, another government department, a central PSU, a port or a government-controlled joint venture, and your career included railway traffic planning, this circular is meant for you. The grade you held at retirement must match the level the circular sets for your pay system (CDA or IDA).

You pick your preferred site in the "Place of Posting Applied For" row of the application form, so decide early which of the three locations suits you.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract term: You join on an annual re-employment contract. It can be extended based on your performance and the company's needs.
• Grade upgrades do not count: A higher grade pay or pay scale you got under ACP, MACP or NF from your parent department is ignored when your eligibility is checked.
• Pension proof: Because this is re-employment, you must attach your PPO and your last salary slip or last pay certificate.
• Shortlisting: If five or more qualified applicants apply for each vacancy, IPRCL may call people for interview in a 1:5 ratio, judged on relevant experience.
• Service rules: Your appointment follows the IPRCL Service and Conduct, Discipline and Appeal Rules, as amended from time to time.
• Changes to the circular: IPRCL can raise or change the eligibility rules, change the number of posts, or cancel the circular in part or in full. Updates appear only on the IPRCL website, so check it regularly.
• Wrong information: If any detail or certificate you give turns out to be false, or you hide a material fact, your candidature is cancelled. Your service can be ended even after you join.
• No changes after applying: Requests to change your address or your group discussion or interview centre are not accepted.
• Canvassing: Any form of canvassing disqualifies you.
• Legal disputes: Only the courts in Mumbai can hear disputes about this advertisement.
