Indian Port Rail and Ropeway Corporation Limited (IPRCL) is a Government of India company under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. It has issued Vacancy Circular No. RE-16/2026 dated 4 June 2026 for the post of Manager (Projects). This recruitment is only for retired or VR officers who have handled infrastructure projects such as railway track, metro, railway projects, multistoried buildings, maintenance, or operations.

Who Can Apply?

Service Background

• Eligible Applicants: Officers who have taken voluntary retirement or retired on superannuation from Railways, other Government departments, Central PSUs, ports, or Government-controlled JV companies.

Required Pay Level Before Retirement

• CDA Route: You should have retired or taken VR in PB-2 with Grade Pay Rs. 4,600 under the 6th CPC, revised to Matrix Level 7 under the 7th CPC.
• IDA Route: You should have retired or taken VR in E-2 IDA scale Rs. 20,600-45,600 under the 2nd PRC, revised to Rs. 50,000-1,60,000 under the 3rd PRC.
• ACP/MACP Note: Higher pay granted only through ACP/MACP will not be counted for eligibility.

Age Limit

• Maximum age is 63 years.
• Age is counted as on the last date of receipt of applications, 24 June 2026.

Salary

• Pay Scale: E-2, Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,60,000.
• Starting Basic Pay: Selected person will start at Rs. 50,000 basic pay.
• Allowances: IDA and HRA are admissible as per rules.
• Perks: Cafeteria perks are paid at 20% of basic pay.
• Transport Allowance: 10% of basic pay per month if a company vehicle is not provided.
• Phone / Internet: Mobile, landline, or broadband reimbursement up to Rs. 1,000 per month.

Selection Process
